Hi,
I have just had my first consult with my Doctor. I have so many questions. Would love to talk to others who have had the sleeve or are contemplating having the sleeve.
Looking forward to hearing from you,
Lora

Hello Stacy,
Nice to talk to you. Can I ask why you went to Tijuana? I will have my surgery in Ocean Springs Mississippi. I am hoping I will feel like exercising more. Now when I try to walk my knees hurt. Can you tell me about the amount of pain you had? and how you felt a week out. Did others know you were having surgery? What is a typical days meal for you now. Thanks so much
Hi, I am almost two years post-op and live in Starkville, MS. I can now eat more than I could at first. I am now up to about 1 cup of food, at first 1/4 cup was good. It is strange but it is normal now to eat such a small amount. The only problem I have is remembering to eat slow. If you don't eat slow, you spend a lot of time watching others eat. Hope you have the best of luck with your surgery.
wow you have lost so much... congrats. I have now had my nutrition class , consult, and next I will go for weight management with Doctors and dietician.
I have to go 6 months in a row so I wont have surgery until June. What did you have in your house for when you came home from the hospital? and what protein drinks do you dislike and like, and how do you get them in, in your food or do you drink them? It's so good to meet someone close by. Do you work out, what about flabby skin?
talk to you soon.

I liked Pure Protein best 30grams. I tried a lot of kinds you mix with water, but did not find any I liked. I got mine from Amazon.com. I had a lot of broth, and hot decaf tea. For me room or warm liquids did best on my tummy. I tried to work out but could not seem to find anything I liked. I walked a mile every other day for month, tried gym for month, and had a trainer for two weeks. I found for me just learning the eating and working (set down job) was working for me. I am just now joining a gym again. I am now at a weight I am comfortable, with and do not need to loose, just firm up what is left. I have excess skin but not too bad. Its all hideable. lol
Hi, Montgomery area here as well. Same doc. LOVE HIM! Congrats on your success!
