Yes , I remember feeling more tired about a month out. It was then that I started taking more vitamins. I started on B12 sub lingual and iron. Also i really started forcing down more water. I think it helped. Hang in there.

I am the same. Almost a month out and I'm not so much sleepy tired as I am like it takes me forever to do something. Christmas decorating for example...I am on day 4 of trying to get it done but I get so tired so easy. Hopefully it passes. I am trying to make sure I get all my fluids and protein. Good luck!

I think the fatigue is normal. I felt the same way and increased my protein and made sure I got all my water in. I also started walking and that seemed to make me feel better. Take care of your self and this phase will pass.

Are you getting your protein in? At this point one protein shake a day is still important to keep your energy levels up. Are you taking your multivitamin daily? Studies show that if you don't take multivitamins, after a handleful of years your body will be a big medical disaster. You can't mess around with that. So, drink plenty of water, get your protein in, take your multivitamin, and exercise. That's about it. Good luck!!

The reality is that we are not getting the calories required to keep us humming along. A little farther out, you'll be eating more and getting more nutrition from your food. If you are still under 1,000 calories a day, you are going to be tired. You're also going to be losing a significant amount of weight. The nurse at my doctor's office said that it will take months for my energy level to return to normal levels.

I've been living with fibro for a few years, so I figure my best plan is to anticipate the fatigue and take the necessary steps to deal with it, like getting my kids and husband to help more, going to bed earlier, napping on the weekends, etc. It will get better. Try the protein shakes (or Quest makes delicious protein bars and chips). Bump your calories up a couple of hundred. You will still lose

I was in the same boat 4 weeks out. Went to my PCP and she knocked down my BP meds by 75%. I felt like a new person the next day. I also started taking B12 sublingually.

It's normal, I felt worse in week 3 than I did after my straight after my op. Your body is adjusting, its had a major trauma, it's having less food. You'll get there, listen to you body, if your tired rest. I was told by a nurse it will take a good 12 months for your body to totally recover. Good luck.
