Hello everyone. I had my surgery on November 24th 2015. What is the normal intake of water over the course of an hour?

I was also sleeved on the 24th. I was a little wimpy about drinking too much initially, but I have been experimenting today and have had no problem with 8 ounces + in an hour. In fact, I just polished off half of an 11 oz protein shake mixed with half a cup of milk, so about 9.5 ounces in about 40 minutes, and I wasn't even trying to go fast.
I remember setting a timer on my phone to go off every 5-10 mins in the first few weeks, because I would forget to drink my water. As far as my protein shake went, it would take a solid 2 hours for me to drink a 14, 16 oz shake. I hope this helps!
8 ounces of LIQUID per hour. I drink the Isopure bottled drinks, which are 20 oz (just had my one week check up today). I pour 10 oz. into a water bottle, add ice to the 16 oz mark, and just sip constantly. By the time I'm done, the ice has melted, and I've gotten in 6 oz of water too. When it's empty, I do half juice/half water (8 oz). Then another 10 oz of the Isopure. The only water I actually drink comes from the melting ice. In the evening, I do broth, and a Premier protein shake, and if I'm still awake, tea. I have yet to hit 64 oz, because I'm napping, too. Doctor seemed okay with that, and said that it would go done more quickly in upcoming weeks. This is good, because when I am actually THIRSTY, it's hard to get enough.
You cannot overdo it with liquids. They pass right through your sleeve and WILL NOT stretch your sleeve. If it doesn't hurt, just keep drinking. And be thankful you can get your fluids in easily. For the 1st 3 months it took me all of 14 - 16 hours/day to get in my 64oz. I started the moment I opened my eyes and didn't go to bed till I met goal.
