Happy Thanksgiving -- What Are You Thankful For?

Today is Thanksgiving Day in the United States. The Canadians already had their Thanksgiving in October.

What are you thankful for?

Here are three things I'm grateful for today:

1. My husband -- who is my always-supportive partner in life, best friend and lover.

2. My gastric sleeve surgery -- and my surgeon's practice that has supported me these last two years pre-op and post-op.

3. My friends in real life and online -- they / you are the family we choose who support us in our endeavors, who cheer us on, who give us the hugs we need that mean so much.

1-I am Thankful for my children, who never fail to bring a smile to my face everyday.
2-I am Thankful for my husband who has stuck by me thru thick and thin (get it?) He is my rock, the one who always supports me and helps me make the best decision.
3- I'm thankful for the opportunity to live a healthier life with my sleeve. To be able to look and feel good.
4- I, also, am thankful for all of the support on this site...Ann, I'm thankful for you....you take the time to answer questions, to tell it like it is.
All in all.....I'm thankful to be here, alive and healthy and watching my dog chase her tail.

I'm thankful for my sleeve surgery, being able to afford moving across the country to be with my family and make a better life for myself. And I'm thankful for being able to visit with my grandparents who drove here for the holiday after being apart for 5 and a half years. I'm so very thankful!

1. I am thankful for the good health I have and the ability to now get up off the ground, to walk without pain, to breathe !
2. I am thankful for the support, the sharing of their experience with WLS, and the non judgement from all who have responded on this site.
3. Last but not least I am thankful for the gift of life. After losing my husband 3 years ago to cancer I have learned how short life can be and in order to honor his memory and others, I chose the WLS way of life to live my life in the most healthy way I could and to cherish everyday of the gift I have been give.
In giving thanks, I thank you all for your support and wisdom as well.

I have so much to be thankful for:
My mother, gone 3 years created a wonderful, loving family legacy.
God has blessed us with health and allowed us to live in a great country.
I have been blessed with 6 children and stepchildren that are good , kind, Godly people, and a husband that loves me unconditionally, fat or thin, but supports me even with all my odd ball quirks and all my crazy animals.
And I am thankful for the support on this site....( and knees that don't creak).

I too am thankful for the love of family and friends, and the wonderful time we get to spend together. Thank all of you for your great input on this site. There are times I would be totally lost on this journey without you and your insight to the problems I face on this journey. I am thankful for freedom and all that entails. May God bless each of you on your continued healthy journey and life style.
