WOW - congratulations and thank you for sharing such a positive message to all of us.
It is nice to see that you really do love yourself - what a great thing to say.
Good luck in your future.
Thank you so much for this! Very, very helpful! Just this past week I was able to cross my legs again!! I also like how after showering the towel is able to wrap around me a little more.. It's the little things!!
Great, great post, Jessie. You deserve every bit of happiness you've created for yourself.
I love the joy you take in your new life. Makes me grin.

Lolita, "A girl has to do what a girl has to do", go back to basics and take advantage of the honeymoon period (1st year). That's when most of the weight will come off and new healthy habits formed. You can do it, and it's so worth the changes. Continued success
This was so refreshing to read. It is so neat to know that others that used to be overweight understand because you were there. You know about crossing your legs ...loved that part!! Thanks for being so honest and sharing so much information. Lord willing, if I get approved from insurance, I will have the surgery in January so I hope to be on that road to a new me too.
Heh. Careful when you mount up on that bike in the spring after losing a bunch of weight! It mucks with your center of gravity and balance at slow speeds or parking fro a while! You CAN get thorough it! Just be aware it might affect your riding "mojo" till you get used to it! 8 years riding and I developed the "dropsies" for a couple of months after my winter\surgery hiatus
I could say "ditto" to most everything you wrote. It's the best thing and I appreciate many of the same things... Stuff like tall boots and crossing my legs. Airplane seats seem so much bigger too.
But really it's all how amazing I feel that matters most.
Congrats to you!
I'm 1.5 years out and wouldn't change a thing.

What a POSITIVE post!! Im a newbie "sleever" having had it 3 short weeks ago...but reading posts such as yours is really encouraging. Nice going girl...
Since I'm just three weeks out from surgery I'm having a bit of difficulty...let me explain.
I'm so used to eating a lot more food. I'm finding it difficult to eat only a few ounces at a sitting. Like, VERY difficult. I was hoping that I would lose interest in eating but so far I haven't. I'm just feeling frustrated because I can't eat more. Did anyone else go through that the first month out of surgery?
I am also having a hard time really telling when I'm full. Before I had the sleeve my whole body felt full when I ate too much. Now, I feel like my stomach is full but I can't really feel it anywhere else. And it's confusing to me.
Any tips or help would be appreciated. Thanks for listening.
I am in tears reading about your new lease on life - Congratulations to you. I hope one day to feel the same success and happiness that you have now. You are an inspiration. I'm praying I am approved as a candidate for the sleeve. I should know next week. Again, CONGRATULATIONS!! You look amazing and your confidence comes through loud and clear.
