Default I'm back to share info:)

Had my surgery feb 3 , so basically 9 months out. Lost 75 lbs in the first 4-5 months and pretty much nothing since then. Ive put on 5-7 lbs lately and so just here to share and maybe get tips but there's no real secret here guys and we all know it.
The sleeve is a tool and yes I knew that before but as you get the surgery done and weight falls off, it's easy to think it's a miracle but is its not. It's a kick start to help eat less.

I've got no regrets about doing it, I can only eat half of what I used to but it's important to eat the right things and for me I believe lack of drinking water and not enough exercise is what has halted my progress.
All this said , I'm encouraged by knowing I've got a big challenge ahead to kick this into gear and not take for granted the results I've gotten so far but the rest is up to me.

My goal was 100 lbs in 1 year so about 30 to go
    Take care everyone

I had my surgery the day before you and I agree about the kick-start. I still feel the restriction and I still eat way less than I did before but it's what I eat that makes the difference now, more than anything. When I feel like I'm eating too much, or like I'm hungry all the time, I usually look back and see that I've been snack/grazing a lot of slider foods or eating too much sugar (Hello, Halloween)...so I'll cut back on that stuff and up my protein with denser things, like a chicken breast, and it helps re-set things for me.

Here's to the last 30 pounds!

    Weight at 1st Doc's Appt: 290
Weight the Day of Surgery: 267

    Post-Sleeve Weight Loss YR 1:

    M 6: 7 lb
    M 7: 5 lb
    M 8: 6 lb
    M 9: 5 lb
    M 10: 4 lb
    M 11: 6 lb

Total Weight Loss: 124 lb (101 lb post-sleeve)

PLEASE do not let the water go down. I have just found out that due to me becoming dehydrated, there is damage to my kidney. (And I only have one due to kidney cancer a number of years ago.) I don't think that I realized just how important water is as a part of the program we are on.

You are right - you WILL slow down when your water drops down. Now that I am pushing as much water as I am I am losing again - not a lot, but I have basically been at the same weight for almost a year give or take a few lbs. so losing 10-15 lbs is a big deal.

Good luck - you can do it.
