How bad is the pain with arm lift?

I'm having the excess skin from my upper arms removed in about 6 weeks and I'm starting to get concerned that there will be a lot of pain. I don't like taking any type of pain medicine so just trying to prepare myself. I would love to hear your experience if you have had the same surgery.

I did my arms and tummy at same time. I had a pain pulp for my tummy but not arms. Yes I had pain, but really only the first couple of days

The hard part was getting out of bed. Couldn't use my arms or my abs.
I had zero complications and love the results.

I'd be interested in hearing from others as well. My arm lift and breast lift are scheduled for Wednesday, Nov 25. I will be returning to work after 1 week. My doctor says it's an easy one to recover from.
