New Member,Sleeved 4/15/15 ,thinning my mane!

Hello, I'm a newby to the site. I was sleeved in April, I'm 5'11 , I started out at 363, lost 15 lbs in 10 day pre surgery phase and am down to 273 as of October 15,2015. The only thing I've been a tad bit worried about is that I shed a mass amount of hair daily! I have always had super thick hair so it has not been a problem yet but it could stop anytime now already!! My Surgeon says it will stabilize, shew, I sure hope so! Anyone else been through this? Oh, I'm a Mom, Wife, nurse and have no regrets about the sleeve! I'm in York, PA and Dr Garber is my Surgeon. I love to share my experiences so feel free to ask me anything.

Welcome! Congrats on the loss! Unfortunately I also have quite a bit of hair loss......I think it's slowing down a little but it's still a brush full whenever I brush my hair, so after I wash and brush there is a lot of hair coming out. I was sleeved 12/30/14 Thank god I started with thick hair.

I lost very very little but I took hair and nail supplements and pre-natal vitamins before and after the surgery. Someone I met out here told me about those and she didn't lose any hair either. Not sure if it's too late to stop the losses but worth a shot. It'll grow back
