Waiting on Insurance approval.

How many of you have Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plan? If so how long did it take to approve you for gastric sleeve surgury?

We have AETNA but are also waiting nervously for a decision. The surgeons office has been checking on the status daily but yesterday I called. I asked that it be marked urgent and told them why. I am on vacation and start a new job on the 20th. He has a date of the 20th pending insurance approval. The woman was understanding but we'll see.
