Just build muscles . your body will burn calories even when you are doing nothing .also dont eat easy food ( sweets or any fatty food that is too easily to get melted) such as french fries

Dont spend too much time in the gym just focus on two or 3 muscles at best . two or three times a week and drink proteins shakes (focus on 60g or 90g) within 2 months you will notice new muscles and 10 pound lost at least

I have heard good things about the back on track diet. Hopefully that can help you.

Do you exercise? That's what really helps me with staying where I am with my weight.

Do you do any exercise? Keep a journal for a week or so. May see something, maybe more food or sugary food/drinks. I just past 18 months. Slowed down and creeped up a few lbs. I added walking on treadmill 15 minutes, dropped weight. GOOD LUCK

Congrats. I also weigh myself everyday. If I go up or down over 3 days, I watch what I'm doing.

I had to work, work, work on getting to where I am. Like above, I try to stay right on top of things and lose the few lbs I go up and down with post haste. I weigh EVERY SINGLE DAY and if that scale goes up, I eat mainly protein for a few days. I still try to start the day with an omlette or eggs and bacon. Once in awhile I will have oatmeal with some brown sugar. I cannot start out the day with pancakes or muffins as much as I love them, because my sugar will be in the toilet the rest of the day. For me, it has been all about my diet. I don't tend to exercise much, but I enjoy walking and know if Instart gaining, I will head back to the treadmill, which I did every day when losing the bulk of my weight. Planning is very important for your meals. I also tracked using myfitnesspal. I think you just have to get excited about the process like you did when you were first sleeved. I will sometimes spend some time looking up low carb recipes and make a grocery list and enjoy the time in the store looking for fresh veggies and trying the new recipes. I love to cook, so that helps. I try to stay around 25-30 carbs for about 2 weeks, then eat normally for a week, then go back down to the lower carbs. That helped my body not get used to living on the lower carbs long term. Anyway, hope this helps! You CAN do this!!!

Make sure you're setting aside time to exercise. The sleeve really IS just a tool to help you lose the weight and keep your hunger at bay. I know people say all the time that they're too busy, but a half hour is nothing. Even going for more than one short walk a day is a great idea. Are you still eating your protein first before your veggies?

    Weight Loss:
6 Month Requirement with Nut = 41 pounds
    1st mo = 19 pds
    2nd mo = 19 pds
    3rd mo = 9 pds
    4th mo = 16 pds
    5th mo = 11 pds
    6th mo = 9 pds
    7th mo = 4 pds
8th mo = 1 pd (bad food choices)
    9th mo = 4 pds
    10th mo = 3 pds
    11th mo = 3 pds
    12th mo = 4 pds
    13th Mo = 3 pds

    Hi Melissa,

    Just read your post.

So helpful I just wanted to say it makes sense.
I am 3 weeks sleeved tomorrow.
I can't follow my dieticians advice or the advice of many as I am having acid reflux and gas constantly and thrush as I have had antibiotics since before December for Chest infection then Parathyroid surgery in January then my operation March 2 so I am struggling with Fruit or Juice of any kind.

So I am modifying everything I do .

I have lost 1 stone in less than 3 weeks ( 7 KG /14 pounds)

But I am eating my meal in the evening in 2 stages because I can't eat more than 2 forkfuls without the acid pain - I am on PPI twice a day and taking gaviston as well. But it worries me that I am eating little and often all the time - I was told 3 meals a day - I can't because of the acid but I am also hungry on just 3 forks of food.
I know everyone is different but I am aware eating in 2 sittings might not be good.
Wondered if anyone else has had this experience.
By the way I have always had some acid reflux problems - but this is off the scale and my surgeon really investigated via endoscopy before surgery that there was no problem with my stomach or oesophagus.

Just wondered if anyone is in a similar position.

    You have done Amazingly well!
    I am thrilled for you.
