How soon after surgery are seeds ok?

I had heard not to eat strawberries and things like that with small seeds so they won't work their way through the staple line...how soon after surgery is ok to go ahead and enjoy strawberries and raspberrys...

you are 2 months out? i was definately eating strawberries by then..but i didnt eat alot..tummy had to agree with them
