Sleeve with Dr. Almanza!

I am beyond excited!! Surgery date is set for August 11th. Hotel and airline tickets have been purchased! My husband is now being supportive of my surgery. Everything is falling into place! I am still being very selective on who I tell about my upcoming procedure because I do not want any negativity brought into this experience. This sleeve procedure is going to improve my overall health and I don't want anyone to bring me down about it! The countdown is ON!!

I booked with him originally, but switched to Dr. Sarinana after reading those stories. Whether it's true or not, having "deaths" autofill on a Google search after your doctor's name is NEVER a good sign! Very happy with everything I've read about Dr. Sarinana though.

I also read the deaths, and I was about to schedule with that doctor also. Just debating now if I want to have my sleeve in Mexico or pay the outrages prices here in the USA.

What's the name of the facility you are having your surgery at? The place they gave me is called Bariatric Center in Tijuana.

I am scheduled for a sleeve revision with Dr. Almanza. I completely trust him that is why I am returning. It isnt his fault I gained back some weight. I actually was very successful for almost 10 years with keeping off the weight. As far as the deaths that occurred in the news. There is always the possibility in any surgery that issues arise. People die. Case by case scenario. Because my previous care with him I am very confident that I will get back to where I was before.

Just a thought but you might want to look into Dr. Galileo Villarreal in Nuevo Laredo. I went to him, and he is thorough, kind, and puts his patients first.My sleeve was very successful. He's never had a fatality and minimal complications throughout his career. He's the only doctor I know who can proudly say he's never had one leak. As for Dr. "Death" Almanzo, RUN and RUN FAST.
