Hello, I have completed my 6 months supervised visits & completed All the pre-op appointments. Humana just called to say my surgery has been approved. I'm so excited. I have 3 older sisters who have All had the gatric sleeve over the past year. Only my insurance required the 6th months wait. I understand the reasons for this; I am just excited to begin my weightloss journey to improve my health & quality of life. At 34 yrs of age Im ready to be active & off these medications. It was detected that I have sleep apnea when I recieved the sleep study by the pulmonary dr. Going to have another test Friday night called the cpap titration, so they can determine what settings the cpap machine will need to be on for me. So after I receive my cpap machine & do the 3 week diet & blood work then I can have my surgery cause you have to take your cpap machine with you to the hospital. Any support is appreciated. Everyones experience is different but support helps strengthen us where we are weak.
