    Default Breasts

What do your boobs look like after surgery? Do they stay perky after so much weight loss or not? I already have stretch marks from weight gain but was wondering what the effects of weight loss would be. I'm assuming that I'll stay the same cup size but just decrease size. eg. I was 12B then 12C and now I am 14C to 16C. I assume that i'll go back to 12C.

Perky isn't the EXACT word that comes to mind. I'm thinking same size, different shape. I'm really hoping weights will help but I may have to work out like a gladiator if these girls ever percolate again! Maybe if I were 20 yrs younger.

funny how one's problem can be other one's envy.. when i gain weight it all goes everywhere but my boobs. but when i lose weight, it's the first place to start.. >:| i'm just bracing myself being flat once i lose weight and either be in peace with it or go through breast augmentation which i heard is really painful..

You have to do exercises and build your pectoral muscles. These are easy to do, you can do them anywhere, with weights or solo. Pushups against a door frame. Just get going!!!

leeking, that might work for some people but not all, sometimes the skin stretches so much with weight gain and rapid loss like the sleeve provides that surgery is required. Me? I'm having a breast reduction and looking forward to it like some people look forward to...getting a pony...getting married...winning the lotto.

Toning your muscles is always a good idea for agility, for better health, for better fat burning capacity but it doesn't always help w/ loose skin. You can have pounds of loose skin on top with tons of lean toned muscle underneath.

Of course, but building up your pectorals as you are losing weight will definitely help with the shape of your breasts, especially if you are young(ish).

Actually, that's urban myth. Ask any plastic surgeon whose job is reshaping breasts after weight loss. It's called post bariatric weight loss surgery and it's the fastest growing area of plastic surgery today.

That said, everyone's body/breasts/skin is different. Let's talk more after you lose all your weight!

    (Edit)

I see you edited and put "youngish" in. Yes, the younger you are the higher your chances are of your skin snapping back, but it also depends on the individual and how much the skin was stretched out from weight gain AND how much weight was lost and how fast. I wish it were different, but it's not...

LOL! I know exactly how you feel! I was always "big" up there from age 12 on, no matter if I was skinny or fat. HATED IT. I would wear two tight bras to squish the darn things down! Finally I had breast reduction at age 24 (16 yrs ago!) and it was the first best thing I did for myself (second was sleeve ). Granted, I gained weight after it, and they stretched back out and got a little bigger again but never back like they were. And when I lose weight they deflate right back - SO looking forward to that this time. I can already tell the difference and love that they are smaller again. Since I stretched them out and lost weight again, they are pretty much like most peoples in the saggy type dept now, but I can live with that. And if I ever want to, I will likely just need a "lift" (which I will instruct them just means tighten them back up where they belong, but NOT where they look bigger!).

As a funny note, when I hate the BR surgery, I was laying on the hospital table while they taped my arms out to my sides and the surgeon was asking me if I was ok and all. I told him to keep chanting to himself - GO SMALL ( hell he could have chopped them off and I would have been happy). I almost painted that on them for the surgery but didnt

I was a 38E pre-op. I'm somewhere around 38C now. My poor "girls" are pretty flat on top and graduate to what I can only describe as a J
I have never had children so no nursing issues.

I fully expect a lift in my future

I once lost 255 lbs and despite being "youngish" and plenty perky, my poor breast looked like a regular balloon that has sat around and slowly deflated! Sigh....I never did have much up there! Once when I had lost 130 lbs and a friend saw me for the first time, she said, "what are those? fried eggs?" I was mortified. I hope I can have afford breast reconstruction and maybe a little enhancement?!
