Surgery Tomorrow...nervous

Hi everyone,
This is my first post. I was very happy to stumble across this site.
My surgery is tomorrow and I'm nervous. Not about the changes that I will be making in my everyday life, but about the surgery itself...and secondary the recovery. I am ready, and have had numerous surgeries due to breast cancer (6.5 year survivor yeah!), but am more nervous about this than I was about my mastectomy. Can anyone help?

I have not had the surgery (yet) but this site and the people are very helpful and informative. Scroll through some of the posts and blogs and they will be a great asset to you! Good Luck tomorrow! If you can beat breast cancer, you can do this!

first, the surgery is easier than you think..not as much pain as i had anticipated, but it is your head that you have to battle with..all the emotions of the surgery and so on..HOWEVER..you have been thru breast cancer!! so this will be a breeze!! truly no kidding..you have already battled and this is something that actually is a blessing..so be strong and of good courgage..you will do fine!! many blessings coming your way............

The surgery was nothing, just a little tenderness and I couldn't lay on my side for a while. I can't believe how quickly I started to feel better - I hope things go as well for you!
A weird thing happened after surgery that was an eye opener. There was something sweet or junky on the kitchen table and normally I would go by it and grab a piece of it and keep going. my hand stopped mid-way and as I was saying to myself - you shouldn't have it, I was thinking to myself I don't want it Great moment!!!

First let me day congrats on fighting breast cancer. I just had surgery march 24th and I'm her to tell you. There is nothing to be afraid of. You will be Jussi fine. I can't believe how great I felt just days after my surgery. This is a great site and we are all family. Please let me know if I can help with anything

surgery was fine yea its soar wen your trying to get out of bed I went back to work in 2 weeks your not gonna feel like drinking much water are liquids I was tierd a lot I forget to sip water but I survived my surgery was Jan 14 2015 im feeling great only take a few bites of my food then Im done but I feel great I started my journey at 202 in my weight day of surgery I was 189 now im 154
