If so, you may need a fleur de lis cut, as pulling down on the stomach skin is not always enough(as it grew in all directions, kind of like a balloon blowing up and pulling it down can only address on aspect of that). You will trade the removal of the skin for the more visible scar. Or, is a small amount of skin left worth not having the larger, more visible scar? That is a personal decision, in my opinion and there is no right or wrong answer. I would get at least three surgeon's opinions on what they feel they could do for you with either type of surgery and base your decision on those medical opinions and your own preferences and priorities. Personally, I am just a month out from having a lower body lift. For me, this was the best option.
