Default Re: Fleur de lis vs lower body lift/tummy tuck

I am almost two weeks out from having the circumferential tummy tuck ( 360 lower body lift )
I really think it is a personal decision.
I also think both procedures are great in their own ways. I was really interested in have the Fleur de lis for the longest time.
After meeting with a number of surgeons, for me and my body shape, I decided to go with the 360.
Not at all what I was originally planning to do, but after my consultations I had to reconsider my options.
I would have been happy to have the excess skin removed either way.
Just do not settle on one or the other until you talk to different surgeons about both procedures and how they will work with your body type.
You will know what is best for you after getting some different opinions from the surgeons.
Good luck to you. If you have any questions about the 360, feel free to PM me. I will answer the best I can.

I had the fleur de lis on December 12, 2014. My scar looks great!
surgery 2 (2).PNGThis pic is from the day after surgery, minimal bruising.

This is a selfie that I just took, 10 months, post op. IMG-20151025-00535.jpg

This is a side view, take on 2/11. 20150211_153713.jpg (Yes, my butt and thighs need help but I am not ready to have those worked on.)

My stomach is completely flat and there is no excess skin. I have absolutely no regrets with either the VSG or the Fleur de lis. Both of my surgeons were incredible!

BTW, my surgeon for the fleur de lis was Dr. Chris Schaffer at Hedden Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, AL (https://www.heddenmd.com/html/about/...-schaffer.html)
