Whoo whoo! BC/BS appeal overturned

I just found out that my previous denial was overturned with help from Lindstrom Obesity Advocates, they were awesome. BC/BS denied my claim after going through all the pre-clearance requirements. My surgeon even did a peer to peer review but that did not help. I learned about Lindstrom from this forum and my doctors office as well. I paid 900.00 and 60 days later I'm approved.

I should have my surgery date soon hopefully by early April.

Wow, good for you. I emailed Lindstrom when I first learned BC/Fl BC would not pay. Kelly Lindstrom called me that day, & told me that she thought I had a very good case, but said that she did not think I would need to hire her, as the facts spoke for themselves That speaks volumes about her integrity. I would advise anyone to give them a call if they are in that situation. I decided to self pay in Mexico next month. I know that Human Resources & B/C would have dragged on, & since I turned 64 this month, by the time anything was resolved, Medicare would be right around the corner. Best of luck to you.

Congratulations you must be ecstatic. I know that feeling all too well because 5 years ago they denied me. The only difference was instead of filing an appeal I just gave in and now 5 years later I've experienced more ailments which would never have occured had I did what you have done!!! Wishing you success from this point on.
