Not to be Captain Obvious here, but, if you delete the site and it's url from your computer and never come back, you should be spared the popups that you are getting. If you are getting emails that you don't want, then you are going to continue to get them regardless of whether or not you are a subscriber.

You can also configure the site to discontinue sending you emails every time someone responds to a thread you are subscribed to or started. It would be a beshame if you weren't able to use the site for it's intended purpose should there is a simple fix to your problem.

Your input here is appreciated, but I understand if you don't want an account here anymore; you can always follow Tinman's suggestions.
Keep the address, maybe you can search the website in the future if you have any questions re: your VSG.

Out of curiosity, why don't you want an account here any more? (There is no right or wrong answer, just your personal opinion).

Here is a guaranteed way to stop getting emails:
(1) don't reply to any more email threads...in other words, don't post anything here.
(2) when you do get an email, follow the thread back to the forum thread. Right above the very first post in that thread are some tiny words " thread tools". Click UNSUBSCRIBE. Do this to every thread that comes to your email inbox. It will all slowly die out.
