I am so sorry to hear about your husband. We are all here to support you. God bless.
So very sad. Blessings for you....
"Lee, by "own it!" your daughter means that you should be proud of your accomplishment and understand that you deserve this. Not because you have to pay it forward or backward to justify your own benefits. She means that this is YOUR accomplishment, and accomplishing that for yourself is enough. You do not have to fix everybody. And you do not owe anyone for the benefits you have earned. They are YOURS!" Ann2
Cindy, I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

May God hold you close during this difficult time. So sorry for your loss.
I remember reading you speaking of your husband in one of your posts, saying how he brought home all the wrong foods, yet it really didn't bother you! And when someone relied back to you he should have cared more, you were so quick to defend and talk about how much he had cared, I thought to myself,"What a beautiful relationship!" I am so sorry for your loss!
Thank you all for your kind thoughts and words. His memorial service will be Tuesday. This week has been strange and surreal. I have been super busy taking care of necessary arrangements. I am fortunate to have had 29 1/2 years with the best man on earth, and together we made 2 wonderful boys (who are now young men). Although I miss him terribly, I find some peace knowing that he is no longer sick. Thank you again for your thoughts and prayers.
