Good luck! I actually found the pre op diet harder than anything since :-) It's not for long though. I got to my goal weight just over 8 months later, which seemed an impossibility at the time. Be prepared for your mind to be blown :-)

Not sure about Iz, but here in NZ we can get Bariatric Advantage and Celebrate. I prefer the taste of BA. That's another thing, your tastes will change a lot. I haven't had a single protein shake since the surgery as they just made me want to vomit after :-) I froze a lot of chicken stock for those first weeks instead!

Best of luck to you :-)

In Australia we use Nutrichew chewable vitamins. They are specifically for after bariatric surgery. They are very high in all the vitamins you need. You can't buy them at a health store anywhere, you need to get them from your dietitian or surgeon. Around $33 per bottle two times a day. I don't know if your surgeon has his own dietician but mine has got one in his rooms where he insists that I see her every couple of months or at least keep in touch via email or phone if I am having any probs at no extra cost.

Well it's coming to the end of my second day , I'm doing quiet well . The family had home made burgers for dinner and I really wanted a bread roll but I ate my sald then went to have a shower just to take my mind of it .
