I started the rest of my life 4 days ago (gastric sleeve surgery) and so far I'm doing really well! The diet is okay and I know I can make it through for the next few weeks. I'm also a big water drinker and think that is why I'm not experiencing a lot of the reflux that others do.

I do have a question about the multivitamin. My doctor recommended the Bariatric Advantage multi, which includes iron. But the pills are HUGE and you have to take them 3 TIMES A DAY! I don't have a problem swallowing the pill but I was told to crush or split anything bigger than a tic tac. These pills are soft outside and powder inside - not splitting for sure. I tried to mix it with yogurt - no way. I tried mixing with green tea - just ended up with gritty green tea.

Any ideas out there?

I take the chewables twice a day. I found the chewables to be easier to go down. Welcome to the sleeve side.

My doc told me to take a Centrum chewable vitamin - once a day.

Sorry your multivitamin Rx is so icky.

I take multi chewables but if you are OK taking the ones you have go for it.

add the powder to no sugar added applesauce, slip it down do not chew. still taste bad but done quick and you can swallow hole before you know it!
