In mid-2014 (before being sleeved) I bought a Fitbit to help me "get in shape to get in shape." (I'm a 69-year-old lady with bad knees and was sleeved in mid-August 2014). I've found the Fitbit motivates me to move my butt more than I would if I weren't wearing it.
Yesterday, for the first time, I recorded over 10,000 steps. Woot!
Because the weather here has been cold and raw, I've been using the treadmill more. I got in all those steps yesterday by walking a mile at a time ... three times (early morning, late morning, mid-afternoon). I enjoyed watching Netflix on my iPad while walking.
Plus, according to Fitbit, I burned nearly 2,000 calories yesterday.
So none of this is earth-shattering or original. But the big deal is that I did it!
