I am doing the same pre-op diet my surgery is 01/19. So far I haven't found one I really care for, I just drink it as quick as I can to get it over with. I have tried that Chocolate powder mix and mix it with Chocolate milk (1%) with extra protein, now that was the worst thing i did. It turned really thick and gross. Good luck and maybe the unflavored protein it will be better.

I found the premier shakes when I was on my pre-op from Cosco very tasty. They have vanilla and chocolate

I asked this in another thread too so bear with me...

What's a good protein and carb value per shake? Both for pre and post op?

Plan on a late April surgery, trying to get ahead of the game.

The AdvantEdge strawberry-flavored protein shakes taste pretty good. With 17 grams of protein and only 1 gram of sugar, they can be found at WalMart.

Premiere Protein is a good ready made shake. The strawberries and cream taste very good. BTW, It has 30g of protein.

Premier Protein ready made are the best. Chocolate is my absolute favorite and I have never been a chocolate person. The strawberry is food frozen and the vanilla leaves a lot to be desired (it's too sweet and the vanilla flavor is too strong)
