Looking to have my surgery in Mexico by Dr. Almanza in March. I'd like some feedback and advice.

I am 43, will be 44 when I have my surgery in Mexico. I'm planning on using Dr. Almanza. Has anyone used him? I'd like to hear from anyone who has had surgery in Mexico. How did your recovery go? What is the pre-op and post op diet like? I haven't been given this information yet. My family is very leery of me having this surgery there. I have researched it quite a bit and it seems pretty much as safe as it is here in the US. However, I will say I'm nervous. I'd appreciate any information anyone can share with me.

I'm having surgery with Dr.Ortiz on Feb 5th ! Scared to death to say the least!! I'm 47 living in Ontario Canada. I will be traveling by myself and well let's say I haven't traveled much lol my hair dresser has been there and I have 2 friends that have been there also. It don't change the fact that I'm scared lol however it does give me reassurance that I know people personally that have had this done in Mexico ��

You'll be with other people that feel the same if your by yourself. The group you travel around with will be your support. The staff was good. Everything went pretty much as expected. Relax and try to enjoy your new adventure

I am scheduled with Dr. A for Jan 30th. Like you I have researched him up and down, I am also a Nurse and work with some pretty prestigious Doctors in Los Angeles and they have given me their blessing on my choice of Physician so that has put me at 100% ease. I am also traveling down by myself for this awesome journey to a new me. I am very excited a little nervous but can't wait to have it done - the excitement is killing me lol.

I am having mine done Feb 10 with Dr Almanza . I have a friend whom used him and said he is wonderful. I am also scared but in the back of my mind I am also at ease knowing that this is a great choice for me as my research and many others have solidified my decision to use him . This board is fantastic ! I feel like everyone gets me good luck !!

I'm going mar 19 Dr almanza, did a lot research and here nothing but good things. I also know ppl that had great expierience with him
