Has anyone had botox in Mexico? What's the price per unit down there?

I know! I like to do my entire forehead and between the brows... but all of my usual "upkeep" rituals have fallen by the wayside. I can't afford to paralyze my forehead AND save for surgery. lol

i'm in new orleans and have been to dermatologist which is $14.00/unit which is the going rate. now i go to LSU (louisiana state university) SCHOOL OF DERMATOLOGY for botox where it is $8.00/unit. if u live in a city that has a medical school u might want to see if they have a program available to the public rather than traveling to mexico for botox injections unless u live nearby mexico. but it is a great question, also do u know what they charge for a "tummy tuck"?

I don't know what a tummy tuck is but I know that boobs are $3,000 No, I didn't ask that for me, I have a friend that needs her implants replaced---been 12 years. (I guess you are supposed to replace after 10) BUT---she just wanted hers lifted and it was also going to be $3,000---so why not just get new ones??? I am excited to go back to Mexico when my fat is gone to get my tummy and bat wings taken off. I do really need to ask the cost, but right now I am still in the excitement of my sleeve. Maybe tomorrow---- OH---the boobs are at Dr. Almanza's office---there is a plastic surgeon there but I can't remember his name right off the top of my head.

Hello everyone !! I love to read you every morning !!! I feel like you are my friends already !! I do not respond to all the threads because I am kind of new and I just read most of the comments and have been learning a lot from them !!

My doctor has the tummy tuck at 3000 with the lab work included, and he is a cosmetic surgeon, wish is very important for the scars !!

I guess all of us will need that surgery sooner or later !! We can make a group and get group discount : )

I believe it is $10 a unit if i recall correctly. I was thinking of getting poked a few times while down there... I talked to Louise about it, and may do it. I was thinking of coming home with some bigger lips too? smaller hips, bigger lips... I was actually even going to do a face lift at the same time of the sleeve, but even though my face is thin, it will likely get thinner over the next year, so i am holding off on that.

Hello Connie !! My Doc is also from Tijuana, he also has the VIP pick up service from San Diego airport and back. A friend of mine already did her tummy tuck with him, she is very happy with the results, he takes extra care in the scars.
Just another choice for the future !

Dr Lara is at Dr Almanza"s office. He is a plastic surgeon and I'm getting my eyes done when I get my sleeve. If you cobine surgeries you don't have to pay the anesthesiologist twice.

I have never had nor wanted botox but now you have me curious about how many units it typically would take. I thought it was more expensive than that I guess.
