Default One yr and 5 mos post surgery...

    Hi all,
I came to this forum to seek some advice, I am one yr and 5 mos post surgery. I am so happy with my results (down 111 lbs) however, I am starting to not feel hungry just want more food. I also feel I am falling back into some of my BAD habits. Any tips and or recommendations to help with this stump in my road.

PS I have not lost any weight in the past 4 weeks...just been going up and down from 159 - 164. My goal really is to be about 145 - 150.

Thank you to all for reading this.

    Dawn

It could be that your current weight is where your body feels the most comfortable. Other than that, maybe you can begin by eliminating those things that you think you need to start cutting back on--go back to working out if you are not. You can do it. Congratulations on your fantastic weight loss.

I am in the same situation as you, I am one year and 3 months after the sleeve. My weight loss thus far has been good, I started at 325 and am currenty at 210. I am 5'10 and now wear a size 12, from a once size 24. I've been frustrated lately because I still want to lose 20 more pounds (my PCP said 35 more) and I've been stalled the past three months wavering from 209-213. I track every single thing that goes into my mouth via the SAmsung Fitness app on my phone and do cardio/weight traking at the gym 3-4 days a week. How many calories/carbs/protein are you doing per day? I'm going to try to go visit with the Nutritionist from my proram soon but I understand how you feel. I also think there is a level of frustration when you lose so rapidly and consistantly for a year then suddenly it seems impossible. Good luck

    Dawn,

It will b 2 years for me in July. I don't know if ur Dr told u this but ur body will know when you have lost enough. I sometimes don't feel hungry but I know I have to get my protein in. So i drink my shake. I too do bad habits. I still eat junk food but I limit it. I have to have my Hershey's with almonds. Lol. You can always call and talk to ur nutritionist. I'm glad that u have done so well. I went from a size 22/24 to a size 4,6 or 8. Depending on how the clothes are made. I have went to a seminar for my Dr to talk to people who want to do the surgery. Good luck to u. Hope this helps some.

    Hello everyone,
I am 1 year and 9 months. I have not lost weight in months. I have not been consistent with exercise either and started eating a lot of carbs, which I was not eating before. I am a little disappointed in myself. I went from 286 to 210 but I want to get under 200, around 160-165. I have to be honest I am not putting in an effort to jumpstart my weight loss again. In reading some of the posts I know that I need to cut back on my calories. I have started logging my food in MyFitnessPal daily. I still get my protein in. I still have shakes daily with greek yogurt. I have not been getting in all of my water, have been a little sporadic with my vitamins, and not exercising. I have a gym membership so I have no excuse. i tend to put my family and job before myself. I needed put this out there so that I can be honest with myself and get it together. I missed reaching out to my fellow sleevers.
