Hello
My husband has a tentative date set of 12/29 of this year for his sleeve surgery. How much time should I plan to take off of work to be able to help him? I want to be there for him as much as possible, but I don't want to smother him either.

I suppose everyone is different but I went to Mexico by myself and came home on the 4th day post-op. My husband was not home from work for 2 more days after that. I only had mild discomfort and really didn't need anyone to hover over me.
