Default moving on to pureed foods

I am 2 weeks post op and am about to move my diet from free liquids to purees as recommended by my dietician. I am worried though because unlike some posts on this forum, I don't have any sense of fullness. Others have mentioned not being able to get enough protein shakes etc but I have no such problems! I don't seem to have the nausea that others say they have if they have too much although, i can say i have not been overly hungry on liquids. Will this change for me when on purees? I am beginning to dream of "normal" foods. But Will I know when to stop? Am a bit worried about messing up my sleeve and anxious to make it work for me. How do others manage & cope please?

If your body won't tell you when to stop, just stop yourself. Stick to the measured amounts recommended by your dietitian, and you'll be just fine. If you're eating slowly enough, you may not recognize "fullness", so much as a "lack of hunger". And that's just perfect! It's really a matter of training yourself. What we used to rely on, before this journey, wasn't fullness, but STUFFEDness, and we're training ourselves to avoid that overfull feeling that we used to think of as normal.

I have no feeling of fullness or hunger and I am 4 months Post op, I have learned how much If I eat to much I get the food stuck in the throat feeling, Trust me puree is a whole different thing than liquids, You will have to find your limits and when you pass your limit of what will fit in your sleeve you will feel the nausea and dizziness.
