They said scar will look better and better over time it will thin out more and fade. I'm very very happy with results so far! Best choice I've ever made.
Love that you are doing so well, makes me very excited to have mine. I went for my consult Monday and the doctor said I am ready to go with surgery as soon as I'm ready. The price was so much less than I thought and it will be a day surgery. My insurance won't cover and I knew a night in the hospital was going to be killer.
Thanks again for sharing your experience, very inspirational for me to get this scheduled and move forward. I will watch for your continued healing and your journey to your new body.

Just an update. Got my last drain removed on Thursday! Omg I feel like a human again! Removing the drains wasn't painful just weird feeling. Makes for sleeping so much easier! I'm still wearing the girdle everyday. But with the drains out I don't notice I'm wearing it. They told me to wear it half the time. My abs feel it when I don't wear it. I'm off all pain pills. I purchased p90. It's less intense than p90x. As soon as I get clearance to work out I'll be doing that. They said no jeans til I'm 8 weeks out. I go back for follow up on the 22nd of January. It's still weird seeing flat tummy. But love the results!! Best choice I've made. Still need to get my boobs done. Going to save up for that since that's out of pocket. I can't wait for my boyfriend to see the results. (He lives out of state) he doesnt want to see pics he wants to see in person. I'm so excited. And doc said to listen to my body when it comes to sexual activities. No crazy stuff lol. But should be okay after 6 weeks for those curious about that.

Thank you this forum has been so supportive during my transformation! I'm glad I could share my own journey and hopefully inspire those that are just starting theirs.
You look great. My wife has lost over 100 lbs. and kept it off for over 7 years now and has a lot of extra skin around her legs and her belly that will not tighten up. She is becoming self-conscious of it now and doesn't know what to do. I would like to get some advice and recommendations from you for her to consider. Thanks
I had my tummy tuck June 2014 BEST BEST decision EVER!!!!! I was back to work 8 days post op (day after drain was removed) I agree it isn't for people who can't handle pain.. I still find at times from having the MR that I can feel the tightness when I lift myself up .. Like from washing my hair in the tub just for an example...I am also doing my plastics in stages ...next will either be my backside (if I don't tone it up enough on my own) or my arms and lift ... Not sure yet ... Your progress is great & you look awesome!!!!

3 months out
Thank you for starting and updating this thread. You look fantastic.
Reading about your experience is very helpful since I will be having a tummy tuck in a couple of months. I am very nervous about the recovery. I found the drains very uncomfortable after my breast reduction (they became painful after a few days) and am not looking forward to an even longer time with them. But seeing your fabulous results makes me think that it's worth the discomfort.
