Hi,
I thought it was time for me to join this forum. I have been out looking for the right one to join and this is it. I am 13 days post op and feel blah! This syrgery was way more than i though it would be. I had the Gastric Sleeve.. hmmp though it would be a piece of cake. Ha boy was I wrong. My family have bben great and so supportave but a few of them still don't understand why I would out my self through all of this pain, just to loose weight. Im glad ya'll are here for that!

Hi Lena...You said just to loose weight...but I think you wanted to loose weight because you felt miserable most of the time..did not like to go shopping because you didnt look good in anything. You needed to loose weight to inprove your health and and be able to go up the stairs without having S.O.B. Am I right so far? Yes it was a painful operation and you still have trouble consuming fluid however all that will surely pass. I think that you will soon feel better about your choice and start loving yourself and making those much needed changes to keep you living longer and better!

I am so much better now! I can drink and hold stuff down. Im getting my calories in and have so much more energy, than I had.
Yes you are right. I did this surgery for so many more reasons than just to lose weight, but its hard to get some folks to see that. I am 23 days post op and already have been taken off my blood pressure meds!! Woot Woot.. winning everyday!
