Will I get grouchy?

I get grouchy but then I can be a grouch! I did get hungry after I had surgery and when I'm hungry I want to eat. Now if I haven't been able to eat when I needed to I can get grouchy. I get grouchy now because I try to eat and it doesn't taste good or it doesn't sit well. Food isn't the same to me as it was before surgery. I love to eat and to eat yummy tasting things but since the surgery not a whole lot is yummy. I am realizing the surgery did in fact change things for me. It is still a time of adjustment for me and you will get through it and you may be grouchy, or emotional but you will also be happy when that weight starts coming off!

@Ann,
Maybe your husband can carry glucose tablets and he can eat one or two of them when he starts to feels the effect of having low blood sugar?

I can relate to his stubbornness ("No, no, I'm fine....").
It's a guy thing.
