    Question Newbie :-)

Is it normal to plateau so quickly after the surgery? I was sleeved on 09/20/2014 with no problems, even lost 21lbs. However I've been stuck at 213.6 for almost a week. Is this normal? Has any one else had this issue? Thank you in advance ❤

Yes! It is normal and our body has to have recovery times so we "stall" but I like to call it recover. When we lose weight at such a rapid pace our body really needs time to recover. Hang in there!! The weight just comes off in time.

First you are not plateaued. You are stalled. This is normal in the process, the body has to stop letting go of fats so that it can catch up with the changes. Stick to the plan and it should resolve itself. IF it stays longer then a week to 10 days then you need to shake it up a little. Keep your head in the game and you will do fine. Godspeed on your journey.

    Perfect. Exactly normal.

Everyone calls it the "three week stall," and you're right on schedule. (You can even google it.)

What Seth and Laura said. For now, just keep keeping on. Eat all your protein and drink all your water. And move a little more every day.
