It seemed like it was taking forever when I began the journey. Now just 30 days until surgery and nervous. All past surgeries have been emergency and no waiting involved. Any advice on pre-op diet recipes and on the go friendly restaurants? Just doesn't have that same feeling like days leading up to Christmas with an advent calendar.

Thx guys. Gotta say its hard not to munch down until I'm forced to begin the pre-op diet. In all fairness to myself....I'm reaching for better choices thanks to the dietitian that I have been seeing. So the three month insurance monitored weight stuff has been helpful.

Head Hunger: my therapist and I are working on breathing techniques such as bio-feedback. Is anyone breathing their way through this journey or using other techniques?
