An odd question. Has anyone researched anything about smoking and sleeve.

First I want to say I do not smoke cigarets but I am a medical marijuana user and usually edibles do not work for the pain issues i have so smoking has been the best option. However my surgeon recently told me that smoking of ANY kind can cause ulcers so they want me to find an edible that works. I had never heard this before and I was wondering if anyone else has come across any info on why this happens? I know its a bit of an off the wall thing to ask but I am very curious and i know you are the best group of people to ask because I know you all have done tons of reading on these issues like me. I just havent come across anything about this specific issue and why it causes ulcers.

Maybe consider using a vapor system. Not sure if it would help but it couldn't hurt!

Vapour is probably just as bad - also anything that relaxes muscles makes reflux worse. Far, far worse.

I was thinking vape as well. When we smoke, we allow an amount of smoke to enter the stomach. With that being said, a tiny stomach would see a higher concentration of smoke than a "normal" one. Go vape.. find some edibles.. and don't forget your friend Manzerick :P

I asked a sleeved buddy how long he took off. He said he about 2 weeks and hasn't had any issues. Hes ov er a year out fyi. I'm surprised edibles dont work for ya maybe try making your own more potent medicine?

I had surgery 3 years ago. My joint pain amplified since loosing the weight.
