Hi cara, me and Jason had surgery at same day ,everything was great with me , I'm back home but I still have little bit Gas .but as far as their facility and service I can say it was amazing and really organized. Feel free to ask me if you have any question.

hey there guys. So was everything as they said it would be online and on the telephone before you got to Mexico?also my mother is coming with me to help me and she is terrified of Tijuana. Do you feel that she has a need to be so scared?

I'll be just ahead of you with my surgery on the 22nd of Oct. Perhaps we will meet at the hotel, my name is Gail and I'll be traveling alone.

I had the gastric sleeve done with Dr. Almanza and I have nothing but good things to say about him and his team. I was a little nervous traveling from Canada to have this done but I do not regret it one bit. The hotel is beautiful and is situated in a very nice part of Tijuana. I was also a little afraid of going there after hearing so many horror stories but the only thing that was scary was the amount I put on my credit card haha. One street over there are quite a few little shops that sell really neat things. They are a bit pushy but I've dealt with worse.

Has anyone ever had the Gastric Plication w/Dr. Almanza? Is it safe to go Mexico for the surgery alone? I'm trying to go there by myself. I'm nervous but excited at the same time.

Going alone on the 21-27, when are you scheduled? I think we will be fine. From what I understand we will all kind of buddy up and have our own little family! Good luck!

My friend Angelic is there now. She had her surgery done yesterday. She felt safe and was walking around right after. The only complication was throwing up from anesthesia. I think its establisbed that Tijuanna is safe. Just do your research on the surgeon.

You won't be alone. You'll meet plenty of people. I had a guy in my group come for the plication but wound up with the sleeve after talking with us and the doctor. I would research both a lot.

I've been researching it a lot lately. I have heard great reviews about the sleeve but I'm afraid to get my stomach cut!!! I guess I'll make my final decision when I see Dr. Almanza. Thanks for the great advice.
