Day 4 Pre-op Liquid diet/ Pre-op testing day

Greetings!

So today is day 4 of this clear liquid diet and I'm still alive lol! Last night was better then the night before. I actually got some good sleep in. The previous Night my tummy was growling like a grizzly bear and I had to keep getting up to pee all night. Last night I did wake up often to pee but the hunger pain subsided some. I was a bit grumpy yesterday I must admit but i kept it in check. When they weighed me this morning Im down 7 pounds since I started so that is cool. ***
I had to put my phone away because they called me back so now I have finished my labs, xray and ekg and talked with the bariatric nurse coordinator. Oh and I also had to pay my $1,200, after my insurance pays their 80%. So I'm all set!

okay, good to know! I am trying to prepare now in case I have to pay anything. I always thought you get the bill afterwards.

Are you getting lots of protein in? Im only starting day 2 of my pre-op liquid diet but was surprised how easy day 1 was. 470cals and 80g of protein

BBcorvette18, yes I am getting in all of my protein and plenty of water. Today so far so good I dont feel hungry.

I'm feeling OK. For some reason me and the sedation drugs ( i couldnt spell anasthesia so i typed sedation ) didn't get along. So I dry heaved and puked a bit.

However I feel a little bit better every 4 hours or so. This pain improves, that pain goes away, little improvements here and there.
