    Default What a difference?

What a difference 13 lbs make in my life? I started school last week and all my classmates were asking me what did you do for your summer vacation you lost a lot of weight? I told them I've been eating healthy and smaller portions. My scrubs are too big for me I need to buy new ones but not just yet. This morning I cleaned my closet and get rid of all the XL pants and shirts. I have clothes in there that I haven't wear for years and I can fit in them comfortably this morning that was a great feeling and priceless. I found quite a few clothes that I can add again to my wardrobe for church. This is the first time in 13 years I'm finally doing something about my weight that I'm certain is gonna take the weight off and keep it off for good. Needless to say that I gladly make my first payment on my surgery loan this morning without no regrets. To me it was a small price to pay considering the amount of money I have spent over the years in yo yo diets. I'm so happy that I cannot wait to see what I'm gonna look like in the next couple months or by Christmas. I hope that everybody who's already on the loser bench is as happy as I am.

Congratulations Angel1, that is fantastic and I'm very happy for you. I was actually just wondering how many lbs / kilos there are to each clothing size. As in, 14 to 12 or M to S. If my kilos to conversion is correct, my goal is 58 kilos or about 115 lbs, so we are aiming for about the same. I'm currently 110 kilos and have lost 9 kilos in the last few months from diet and exercise but it will probably plateau in a few months. That is why I'm having the surgery, to loose weight for the final time.

well Angel1 - your already a loser! and in our eyes, that's a good thing. So glad it's working out so well for you. Me & my daughter had it 6/1/11 & couldn't be happier. She's losing faster now that she is back in school & so very active life style. We're in the East Orlando area, just up the road 2 hrs on I-95 from you! Yep, every payment you make will be done with a smile on your face. I made time payments before hand on mine & when my daughter jumped on board I just put it on the home equity loan. It's been the biggest bang for my buck EVER! Like you said, how much have we spent over the years on yo-yo diets & gadgets that DIDN'T work? There's plenty of room on the bench for you & many, many more to come. Good luck on your recovery & continued success!
