She needs to stay hydrated to be successful. I know it can be difficutl at first. What she might want to try is to get some Mio or Dasani drops to add to the water. There is a chemical term called surface tension that is hard on new sleevers. By adding something to the water it changes the surface tension and makes it easier to swallow. I didnt find this out till I was already in hydration trouble. I was really close to getting the IV therapy when I discovered this. The only way I was able to drink fluids at first was warm. Another trick I have seen from some veteran sleevers is to set a kitchen timer for 15 minutes and drink an ounce every time it goes off. It reminds you to drink all day. I used to drink hydralyte to keep hydrated, in early weeks, water down apple juice, and maybe sustagen .. Warmed, good luck
