delete membership

Actually, most vBulletin-based forums won't let you delete your own profile due to how the software runs. It can really mess up the flow of existing threads.

My suggestion to @jame is to just go back and edit your 7 posts to a smilie or something. Then, edit your profile to remove anything a personal nature, scramble your password, and log out.

I went to jame's account page to leave him or her a message and it say BANNED so I think jame pissed somebody off, but what I really want to say I congradulations on reaching your goal you must be so proud and you should be you look fantastic, i'm just 26 lbs away from my goal, good job

I'm glad you changed your mind. I am a newbie and have learned so much from this site. My surgery is not until the end of the year but I have a lot of questions and although some of the content is redundant, we can still learn from each others successes and failures.
Congratulations on your weight loss it's quite a transformation!

I wish I would have never said that it get's redundant here, I just forgot what it feels like to be a newbie, please feel free to ask me anything, i'll always respond, 12/12 is gonna feel like a year, but you can start with your diet now, it's hard but I or we can help you with it, to tell you the truth you don't look like you need to get the sleeve, anyway i'm always an e-mail away, tony

It's super rude, and very unprofessional. I've emailed him three times and he just ignores my emails. I'm not doing this surgery any longer (lost 50 so far on my own) and I want out of this site. People saying, "Oh well just don't log in and remove the email preferences," are ignoring the fact that I have the right to ask for my email to no longer be associated with this site, if I so choose, and for the owner to ignore us is very rude. I'm not pleased at all.

Accounts are not deleted because of the threaded nature of the site. Like Truffles said. It would cause problems. Everyone agreed to this when they joined, it has always been in the rules of the site that you agreed to when you signed up. Everyone also has the ability to turn off all emails. Unsubscribe from threads, change your default thread subscription mode, and make sure to unsubscribe to those you already subscribed to. And turn off all your other settings so you don't get any other emails too. That should do what you are looking for. Also imagine if you changed your mind, one day you want to be a member and one day you don't, then you want to again you would need to start over. We don't get involved in any of that. You can let your account go dormant, just abandon it and turn off all notices is probably the best solution what you are looking for. More info in the rules page same like it was always there when you joined. Sorry there is not better news but it is complicated and not as simple as you think to just delete accounts on a forum.
