    Default D-day!!!!!

IT'S D-DAY!! I've had my surgery pushed back a few hours so am now checking in at 3pm for op around 5(ish). Just hope that my surgeon's powers of concentration are better than mine are at 5pm (my brain is usually pretty scrambled by then)

Thanks girls All going really well so far (I can't quite believe it!) A little bit of itching (from the dressing rather than any incisions) which is fixed by a daily antihistamine tablet. Am certainly gassy but no real pain to speak of. Nasty taste in my mouth and a yucky coating on my tongue but not a big deal. Got the hang of injecting myself and only 3 more jabs left Have given up on the support stockings and have chosen to keep moving instead. Walked to the end of the road and back yesterday - will aim for a tiny bit further today. All in all, it couldn't be better!
