Unhappy Will the waiting ever end?

I had my last Nut appt on July2 so I was getting excited I should be hearing something soon about insurance approval.
Today I called the doc office and found out that it had not been submitted yet because the doc writes a letter to the insurance co and he has been on vacation! At first it seemed the 6 months would never end and now the approval and surgery date process seems never ending.
I know I want to do this and I am ready but find myself eating in frustration! Know I need to get a handle on the eating.
Please tell me this will all be worth the wait! The 6 months seems to have flown by- one appt at a time. Glad I started the process in January- just ready to get started!

Clynn, why don't you work on making changes in your life in preparation for the sleeved side? You can cut out caffeine and carbonation. You can start working on getting in 64 oz of water. How about starting a walking regimen? Exercise starts with a first step. You can start concentrating on improving your diet, perhaps start by changing what you eat for one meal, or maybe cut out sugar. These are all things that you must do for sleeve success. The more prepared you are when you have surgery, the fewer challeges you will face while recovering. Good luck to you. Get to work making changes. Not only will it help in the long run, it will give you something concentrate on while you are waiting for insurance approval!

Very encouraging response. I know it has gotten me thinking what I can do while waiting. I am just starting my journey.
