    Default ?? For Veteran Sleevers

Another one of my crazy off the wall questions for you Sleeved Vets.. I am to be Sleeved in 21 days. I just got a new pair of eye glasses and they are way to tight for my head. I could have them adjusted or (Crazy Part )do you think that has I lose weight my head will shrink and glasses will fit better? TIA

Your head should shrink it might not be immediate but I know mine shrunk and so did my feet. I dont know how much m y head shrunk but my feet shrunk like 3 sizes. Actually my galsses were the reason I knew my head shrunk I went from adult glasses being just a little too tight to now I have to buy kids frames because the adult ones are WAY to big.

My head did shrink! Last year my hooding (graduation) cap barely stayed perched on my head and this year it fit perfectly. I imagine the same will be true for your glasses. But it may take a while, so if your glasses are uncomfortable now, I would get them adjusted, then get them adjusted again if/when they get too big.

I don't know if my head shrunk, but my face is regular sized now where it used to be fat!

Since you are only 21 days out, I would suggest leaving the new specs alone. By the time I was a month out, if I leaned my head down and didn't remember to hold onto my glasses I was either catching them or picking them up off of the floor.

Buy some small clear rubber bands for braids at any beauty supply store. Put them on the stem and wrap them twice and tuck them into where the stem bends. Instant tightening and no one notices. Done it for years on ones I have ordered online and they were too big

    Kodi:
I never thought about what you said - my glasses are continually falling off and I have been irritated, but it has been in the back of my head and not important enough to act on. I am constantly losing them, because I take them off to cook, to relax, etc. I will have to have them checked by the doctor. Thanks for sharing this tip.

Ace: Liked your ideas about the rubber bands as well. Thanks!

My head and my feet both shrunk. However, I ditched my glasses and got contacts since I realized I was hiding behind my glasses. These days I don't do that. Either way, the answer is yes

Wish I could go back to contacts, but between my astigmatism and the need for bifocals, no longer possible for me.
