Default Need some new tasty pureed ideas

    Hi everyone,

I posted this in the diet section of the forum but didn't get any replies so thought I'd try here too as i'm getting desperate.

I'm into my 3rd week on purees and I'm really over the mushy stuff. I have been eating meals from the recipe book I got but i'm at the point now where I'm so sick of the same stuff that I'd rather not eat anything at all. My nutrition is lacking and of course it's affecting my energy levels but everytime I think about eating my pureed food it makes me feel sick and I tend to skip a lot of meals.

I was wondering if anyone had any new and exciting recipes for purees, I just want something tasty and satisfying to keep me going for the next couple of weeks until I move onto soft foods

    Thanks

I puréed turkey, turkey gravy, cheddar cheese, and a small amount of mashed potatoes -adding garlic to taste.

I liked putting ricotta and marinara sauce with turkey or beef or chicken, black beans, and salsa. I guess think about what you are in the mood for and make it the best way you can to get the flavor you are looking for. Mexican, Italian, or Thanksgiving dinner like Mich D said.
