    Thumbs down Motivation

I need motivation to workout. I had my surgery July 22nd everything went well. I am on soft foods I haven't been eating protien shakes. I drink the WHEY and I make smoothies most of the time. When I had the chocolate I added peanut butter which was great. I have not did much exercising I don't know why. I keep putting it off. I weighed 267 and had lost 19lbs at my first visit but Im afraid when I go back I might have gained. I was going walking this morning and I cleaned house and laundry and then it was to hot. I have a treadmill and a bicycle. I have got to build my legs and arms but I need a swift kick in the ass to get going. I have started back smoking what is wrong with me?????? Besides crazy

You're not crazy the whole thing is new and you need time to adjust yourself. I had the surgery a month ago and I haven't started exercising yet because of fear of not eating enough calories. The smoking part I'm not sure about it I heard some people said they lose weight when they satrt smoking and some gain. Smoking it's not good for your health and I'm not sure how is gonna affect your sleeve you should talk to your surgeon about it. I think you should weigh yourself at least once a week to monitor your weight progression.

nuuoooooo!! i quit smoking for the surgery and i want to stay a quitter! try the patches if you are tempted!! you are gonna be smoking hot later, so you don't need to be smoking!! lol.. remember that smoking isn't good for you (i know, i'm ms.Obvious) and once you start exercising more, the smoking lung is gonna protest!! if you don't want to exercise, at least don't smoke!
