3 weeks after surgery and i am facing some problems..any help and suggestion ??

it has been 3 weeks since my surgery and i am losing weight steadily. my problem is lately (during the last 4-5 days ) i have been witnessing a sharp decrease in my energy during work. In addition to a strong focusig problems. i cant concentrate and i easily loose track of things and this is affecting my performance in my work. i am very much worried and i dont know is this will continue or not. i am not taking any viatmins at the moment, the doctor is telling me not yet, and am still on soft food.
can any one help me in this and i will be very greatfull.

I was very tired at first, your body is going through a transition and you will be a little tired as time passes this should regulate.

You may want to increase your carbs a little. That happens to me if I get too low. Best to you!

Do you take any kind of medicine? I was still feeling tired into week four. Complained to my regular Doctor. She cut out my blood pressure meds. It will get better. Even if you choose to have the surgery it is still major surgery. The body needs some adjustment time.

I was on chewable vitamins (2), chewable Calcium (2), and b-12 sublingual from the day 3.

Be sure you are getting your protein and your water. Do what your doctor says on the vitamins. Every doctor is different and we can't know why he doesn't want you to take vitamins yet. But if this continues, call your doctor.

This is totally normal and will pass after a few weeks. There is no reason you can't take chewable vitamins or gummies if you want to.

I was exhausted for about six weeks, I mean falling over tired, so I think you are about normal.

You should start taking some vitamins. Of all the people on here that I have talked to, zero were told to avoid vitamins. That seems a bit goofy. This is the point that you aren't getting enough and should be on something.

To survive during this time period, I put caffeine in my water, matter of fact I still do. That is the only thing that kept me moving.

Im having the same issue. I'm just under 3 weeks post-op and went back to work yesterday. I"m so tired I can't get up in the morning, and all day just think about going home to bed. I assume it's normal and will pass in a few weeks.

Try some SF vitamin water or powerade. While I'm no MD, I strongly recommend a vitamin. I do flintstones chewable so plus iron.

Metread my nationalist said not to do children's vitamins bc it doesn't have the right amount of vitamins adults need let alone

I'm 3 weeks out and im.exhausted as well. I started eating chicken and tuna for more protein. I hope this passes soon being at work feeling this way is so difficult

@Natex14, how do you add caffeine to your water? To the OP, I agree that you may need more carbs maybe as an afternoon snack to get you through your work day. Best wishes to you.
