Problems after the weight has come off

Hi. I have osteoarthritis in both my knees and would take 6 - 8 tramodol a day.To say every step was agony was not being dramatic. It was my orthopaedic surgeon who put me forward for surgery and wrote to my own doctor. Now 15 months on I really am a new woman I have lost 120 pounds and walk my dog 3 miles a day with no pain relief. It has been the very best thing I have achieved except for my wonderful children. I have so many pain issues I won't bore you with listing them. Let me just say this. I am 31 years old and I had women more than twice my age clocking me out for lunch because I could not make it to the clock and back to my desk to eat because it hurt too bad. After about 4-6 weeks of surgery I saw a complete turn around. My pain is 100% better. I not only clock myself out for lunch I go walk a mile and a half on my lunch break. (Of course I worked up to the mile and a half). But I saw less pain very quickly. It would have been less than 4-6 weeks but I had surgical complications.

It's been great for me. I have arthritis in my knees, and degenerative discs in my lower back. Used to take Celebrex daily, the occasional Aleve on bad days, used a tens unit every couple weeks, and visited the chiropractor for several days every 4 months or so.

I haven't been to the chiropractor, I've been off both meds, and I've only needed the TENS once since my surgery.
