Glad to see you doing well Chelan. 7-10 days was recommended, I waited 10 days because I didn't want it to open like others experienced when the took them out earlier. We all heal at different rates so it's really hard to say what is best. It's a one time thing so it wasn't too bad. I would rather have those stitches taken out any day like that compared to any dental work. I think you have to be a sadist to be a dentist :/

Thank you Rhill2901. I am doing very well. So happy I did it! I have only lost 27 lbs though since I started my pre op but clothes are def bigger!

Had my stitches removed today!!! Doctor said they looked just perfect. So glad not to use all those bandages I recommended earlier today.

I had my stitches removed yesterday. Surgery date was on 6/16/14 with Dr.A.. & unfortunate I was having an allergic reaction to the suture material that he used & they were also too tight. I now have little wounds that look like (+) crosses. On the two larger incision, I have steri-strips on them, which should fall off on their own. Everything else is great. I'm down 25 pounds.

If you have a chance take the little alcohol prep-pads with you. Smelling them helped me after surgery. It took away being nauseous.

Had mine done on Friday just got home from the hospital 20 min ago. doing ok so fartime will time i hate the taste of diet drinks of any kind so i will stay with plain tea and coffee and water

I drink coconut water over ice....tasty and has a little bit of flavor without the over sweetness.
It does have calories, 45 a serving. I'm still so early from surgery I need those calories.
