Social Complications?

I order whatever I want off of the menu (provided of course it is healthy and full of protein.) I cut off the portion that I know I can eat and put the rest in a container that I have brought from home (I hate styrofoam.) I then proceed to cut up my portion into small pieces and eat slowly. I don't feel different as I am there with my husband and enjoying my time out with him. I enjoy the food because it is something that I like. I then have 2-3 more meals to look forward to. I order ice water with lemon, because it is free and I know I can't drink and eat at the same time. If my husband is still eating when my 30 minutes are up, I can sip on the water. If not, I haven't wasted money on a drink I can't drink. We eat out once a week.

don't worry about it! Nobody really cares what you eat. I promise you. Any social gathering just order an app and enjoy as much as you want. No one really cares. Honest!
