Default post op 10 day stall, feeling depressed

I am nearly ywo weeks post op and already on a stall for at least 5 days now. I am on full liquids so soups and yoghurts etc. how can It be, I am eating so little, its very depressing, I started at 115kg pre op and am down to 105,5 ksg , the weight that i have been for days now. how to break this stall??? am i making a mistake in the soup I am making? I make light soups but am adding a bit of cream and where I live in kenya, low fat drinking yoghurt is not vailable. though in such small quantities i wouldnt think this would change anything.
please help, its killing me to get on the scales in the morning and see this.

Can you get protein powder for shakes? You may not be getting enough protein.

I think the weight loss will come. It's just that your body is still shocked and needs to see it's not starving, which is what it's thinking now. I'm only 4 days post op but I know your worries. I'll be sending good thoughts your way! Keep doing what you're doing and it will come off! Remember, it took a while to come on in the first place.

Rouv -- please google (and search the site here, as well) for "three week stall." You will be so relieved to discover that soon after surgery (typically three weeks) many people hit the Dreaded Three Week Stall.

Never fear ... you are normal as can be. You're doing just fine. So please, you don't need to seek out any unusual solutions. You stall will break. In the meantime, get in all your water and recommended protein, and follow your doctor's orders.

Oh ... and in your shoes I would cut out the cream and find a lower calorie substitute. I'm not sure what kind of cream you're using or how much in your soups, but I'm just saying that one tablespoon of cow cream has 52 calories; one tablespoon of half-and-half has 20 calories; one tablespoon of 4% fat milk has 9 calories; and one tablespoon of skim milk has 3 calories.

Congratulations on being on your way. You will do fine.

I was told to drink 80 oz of fluids.. 80 grams of protein .. Unless the soup you make are high in protein one small protein drink may not be enough.
Check the labels of food you eat for protein content.
